Today is day 25 after my last chemo treatment. So I shaved my head with a razor :-) or Marc did. I am starting fresh, with a smooth head, to see if my hair starts growing back. I got this “hair brain” idea to do a time lapsed movie of my hair growing back. Marc, being the hobby photographer and techy that he is, was all for it.
Our son’s room is now the studio; complete with backdrop, light umbrella, and positioning guides. We will take a picture every day for the next several months and then string them all together and see what we have. Maybe it will be like watching a chia pet grow!
I’ve heard all sorts of testimonials about how your hair can be so different after chemo….curly, straight, a totally different color. I’m sort of planning on it coming in totally white and more curly than it was already.
If I could offer a wonderful prize, I’d set up a little contest and let you, my faithful readers, pitch in what you think my “new” hair will look like. Of course, you are still free to comment if you like.

I was VERY excited when my eyelashes grew back. I was also glad when my hair started popping up like new seedlings. I was less excited when it came in straight and dark grey. Fortunately I had the forsight to clip some hair be for the chemo adventure. 2 words….hair dye. ;)
