I can’t remember the day exactly, perhaps it was Friday the 23rd. I decided to take the buzzer to my head and just shave it all off. I have a pretty good crop on the top that didn’t fall out and so it keeps growing amidst the bald spots. I decided I’d just keep it shaved so it will all grow in even. Now Marc has to keep an eye out for sprouts of new hair in the bald areas. I am very fortunate that my eyebrows have remained intact with most of my eyelashes as well. I was not looking forward to trying to draw in eyebrows. I am no artist!
This year I have to renew my driver’s license. You know what that means—-a picture. Last time I was at DMV, I noticed that they made someone take off their hat for a picture. So no hat for me. Perhaps they will let me wear a scarf or a beanie that has no brim. I’m thinking as long as they have an unobstructed view of my beady little eyes I should be fine. On the other hand maybe I should be bold and let them take a bald picture. My birthday is coming up soon so I’ll let you know what I decided or what was decided for me.

Dear Jane,
Did it feel liberating? It did for me. Showers are a lot faster too. I would wash my face and just keep going up and over my head. :) To a healthy, happy new year!
Cheers,
Barb
I’ve heard that if you renew your liscence online they will use your old picture – Just a thought! Your amazing you have such a great attitude about this whole thing!
You my dear….are one of those women that can pull of bald if necessary!
But I didn’t ask…..did you have a hat on or not in your pic?
After your hair grows back, just lose your driver’s license. They used to use the picture they have on file to issue a replacement license – the last time I had to get a replacement one, they made me take a new picture! :)
