Chemo #5 was this past Thursday, the 22. Everything went well. My daughter and her husband were there and my son who is home for Christmas as well as Marc. So it was a great time to visit while I waited for my infusion to finish. A group of children and volunteers came by with candy canes and notes attached that said “Cancer cannot diminish our ability to experience joy.” Amen.
I’ve gained weight through this process and my physician’s assistant was celebrating but in a very sedate way :-) He knows women and their sensitivity to weight issues. He said it will stand me in good stead to have gained weight than to have lost it as I come out of chemo treatment.
I hope you will all have a very Merry Christmas. Isn’t it amazing and awe inspiring and mysterious and humbling that God himself came to earth to walk among us, reveal himself to us, and die and rise again for us. There is no other God like this.
Merry Christmas,
jane & marc
Thank you….so fun to share in your Joy today….and you do sound full of Joy. Only Jesus can do that……
Thank you for updating us. I have been thinking about you this holiday season. Think of how many people have also gained weight these last couple weeks as a show of their support to you!!!! I have probably gained a few myself so we can all celebrate. :)
We wish you a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
