I came across this story at work. It's nice to see technology working in redeeming ways. The effort resulted in the creation of Photo Missing Children, or PhotoMC, an application designed to help find missing children through Microsoft’s face recognition application program interface (API). Breakfast today was from here. Carb overload. This is one of the few places I've encountered that takes an IOU for payment in lieu of cash.
Cetara
Cetara is another small village on the coast. We counted 11 photography crews taking pictures of families and kids. Some of these had video crews in addition to still cameras. We are stumped as to why there would be so many photo shoots on a Wednesday of all days, and why would they be in this small village?
The Other Pompeii
