The cicadas have been making their (very) loud chirping. Is chirping the right word? Maybe song is better. This is one of the shells they shed as they grow. Kind of eerie looking. I've not actually laid eyes on the living thing.

Had coffee today at a very hipster place. It was crawling with skinny jeans, man buns, tattoos, and people working on Mac's while listening to music thru their earbuds. If I wasn't looking out the window, I could have been in Portland (or even Seattle).
