A few weeks ago I decided that it would be fun to go down to the water and see what sunrise looked like on Lake Union. I knew that there was a rowing club that worked off the dock and thought their workout might make an interesting picture.
When I got down to the water there were a lot of people around. “What a bunch of exercise nuts” I thought. I had thought there might be just a person or two.
As it turns out this was the day that the more will-known “Race for the Cure” event was on. What I was seeing was the preparation for “Row for the cure”.
I was able to chat with a few of the participants. Some had been touched by cancer and some had not. I would like to say a public Thank You for those who have taken the time and effort to raise money for cancer research.
