Hibernation #6 Starts 2 Days Early

I’m sure that you’ve seen how “desperate” conditions are in the snowy Northwest. We have 12 inches of snow at our house! But we live up north in the convergence zone where the most snow usually falls and we are on a hill that sits 600 feet above sea level. So it is our privilege to experience the major brunt of most snow storms.

Today the city started to hibernate until the forecast clears up, which is not until Thursday or Friday. So add a couple of extra days onto my hibernation this last time. Marc is hibernating as well. Trying to work between power outages.

Warm and cozy in Snohomish,

jane & marc

  1. Or the other way to look at it….all of us that have “watched you” hibernate, get to share in that experience this week. I am on day two of hibernation. I drink lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I am thankful for electricity and wondering what it will look like if the power stays off one of these times. I am thankful for warmth.
