What sustains you?

Early on in this journey, Marc posted something with this Scripture:

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

This Scripture keeps coming back to us and challenging us to think differently about our experience with cancer. It is shaping, by God’s grace, our response.

I got to thinking that I would like to know what shapes and anchors your experiences in hard times. If you wouldn’t mind sharing, I’m really interested in knowing what sustains you. Whether you are a believer in Jesus or not, there’s something that anchors you or gives you the ability to endure. What is it?

I’m all ears……..
