We were scheduled to start chemo on Wednesday morning, but Jane was feeling some abdominal pain last night and this morning. She checked with the doctor and he wants her to have it checked out before treatment starts.
Chemo tackles cells that are dividing and intestines are one of the places in the body where there is a lot of cell division. So the doctor wants to be sure there is nothing that would be made worse by the chemo treatment.
