Scanned & Educated

I have been fully scanned and educated on chemotherapy. Not much new really to report. Results of the scan come next week and I’ll probably start chemo on Wednesday of this next week (14th). It is coming fast.

The week we found out about my diagnosis our pastor, Mark Driscoll, preached a sermon about bearing witness about our faith in God when life is hard. So Marc and I have been praying that we will bear witness when we can to God’s reality and goodness in this journey. During my chemo education I was telling the nurse about some anxiety that I’ve had. I then tried to tell her about how God met me in the MRI and I began to cry. Those of you who know me can see me sobbing and trying to talk at the same time. She was very kind. I guess God can use our testimony even through sobbing and tears.

I’m trying to figure out a way to consolidate and keep all the notes coming via email, text, blog comments. They are so precious to us. Thank you all for every offer of help and every prayer and encouragement. We are so very appreciative of every one.

Grace to you,

jane & marc
